Welcome to Wikipedia Review, back at ProBoards where it all began on 5 November 2005.
Here are some rules:
Rule number 1: Have fun. Rule number 2: Don't do anything that would ruin anyone else's fun. Rule number 3: Don't do anything that is illegal or borderline illegal. Rule number 4: Generally agree with the aims of the project.
Hopefully people can follow these without too much difficulty.
Aims of Wikipedia Review:
To openly discuss all criticisms of Wikipedia, both major and minor, be it of the software, the concept, the problems with the implementation, the people involved, or anything else. The aim is to educate people about how best to use Wikipedia, how Wikipedia can be better, and also why we should or shouldn't use Wikipedia. We aim to do so in a way that is not hypocritical, and in a way that supports the users who support us.
Pledges of administrators of this forum:
Pledge number 1: Administrators will never ban anyone unless they have broken one of the rules. Pledge number 2: Administrators will only ever delete your post if they feel it is against one of the rules. Pledge number 3: Administrators will never edit your post for any reason. Pledge number 4: If a post is ever merged or split, a reason will be given, and links to what has happened to it. Pledge number 5: The main aim for an administrator is also to have fun, to welcome you, and to enjoy the forum.
